1. Who We Are

Databriva Technologies LLP ("Databriva", "we", "our", "us") is a data and analytics consulting firm registered in India. Our registered address is available on request at info@databriva.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and safeguard personal information when you visit databriva.com or contact us.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information you provide directly

  • Contact form submissions — name, work email address, company name, country and the message you write to us.
  • Career applications — name, email, phone number, LinkedIn URL and uploaded resume.
  • Email correspondence — any personal information you include when emailing us at info@databriva.com.

2.2 Information collected automatically

  • Log data — your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL and pages visited, collected by our hosting infrastructure.
  • Cookies — see our Cookie Policy for full details.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your enquiry or consultation request.
  • Assess career applications and contact shortlisted candidates.
  • Improve the content and usability of our website.
  • Send service-related communications you have requested.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data to third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, we process your personal data under the following legal bases:

  • Legitimate interests — responding to business enquiries and improving our website.
  • Consent — where you have explicitly opted in (e.g., subscribing to communications).
  • Legal obligation — where processing is required to comply with applicable law.

5. Data Sharing

We share your data only with:

  • Email service providers — we use Gmail (Google LLC) SMTP to forward contact form notifications to our team. Google's privacy policy applies to the transit of that email.
  • Hosting infrastructure — our website is hosted on Hostinger. Server logs may contain IP addresses.
  • Database provider — form data is stored in Turso (a SQLite-compatible cloud database operated by ChiselStrike, Inc.) with data at rest encryption.
  • Professional advisers — solicitors, accountants or regulators where legally required.

6. Data Retention

We retain contact form data for up to 24 months after submission, after which it is deleted unless an ongoing business relationship has been established. Career application data is retained for 6 months after the application decision. You may request deletion at any time (see Section 8).

7. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, accidental loss or destruction. These include encrypted database storage, HTTPS-only website delivery and restricted access to our admin systems.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Delete your personal data ("right to be forgotten").
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interests.
  • Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@databriva.com with the subject line "Data Rights Request". We will respond within 30 days.

9. Cookies

Please see our Cookie Policy for details on the cookies we use and how to control them.

10. Children's Privacy

Our website is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, please contact us immediately.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of our website after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
